  • Learn about the history of industrial development in Bellingham Bay and cleanup efforts coordinated by the Bellingham Bay Action Team.

  • Understand how Bellingham Bay redevelopment sites are balancing cleanup with development, public access, and nearshore habitat improvements.

  • Hear from staff at local and state government agencies and private-sector firms involved in the planning, design, and permitting of Bellingham Bay projects.

  • Hear about past and present shoreline stabilization challenges at park sites.

  • Learn how engineers incorporate sea level rise into park site plans.

  • Take a guided tour of redevelopment sites on the Bellingham Bay downtown waterfront.
